Phil Travel Guide Thailand

My dear friends and valued customers !

I am privileged to have been able to welcome numerous visitors to Thailand from many different countries over the past 2 years.

I have greatly enjoyed showing you my beautiful country, which I have been able to do thanks to your support of my travel guide service.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to you for this support.

As a gesture of thanks, should you wish to make another booking with me for any tour and transfer in excess of 7,000 THB [$230 US], I would like to present you with a unique hand-crafted “alm bowl” as a souvenir.

The “alm bowl” or “Bat”, as it is known, is used by Buddhist monks when they walk the streets in saffron colored robes and bare feet in early morning asking for food.

This exclusive alm bowl is specially designed for my customers. You will not find in any shopping mall or weekend market.

Should you make a booking under 7,000 THB and wish to purchase the “alm bowl” at an additional cost, please contact me and I will make the necessary arrangements.

Why not consider visiting an off the beaten track “Ban Bat” or “Monk’s Bowl Village” in a sleepy hidden Soi Ban Bat when you’re next in Thailand. The Ban Bat community grew as a result of an influx of people following the collapse of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.

Here you will have another opportunity to experience the traditional Thai way of life, as well as being able to support our local community and our precious Thai heritage. Only a few families have remained here to follow their traditional way of Bat making since the arrival of modern factories.

As always, I look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country. Please let me make your holiday unforgettable.

Khop khun krub,

Charlie (Phil )
