Exotic Floating Market with adventurous Tiger Temple

Time :  7.30 am- 6.30 pm ( daily )

Have you ever thought to take an exciting day trip from hectic Bangkok?

This program is designed for you to see local countryside of Thailand; an unusual market you’ve never imagined “Railway Market” at Mae Klong train station in sleepy Samut Songkram province.

You will also have a chance to visit the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi. We'll continue our day of adventure by traveling to the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai and spending your unforgettable day with friendly Elephants and Tigers before returning to Bangkok with fond memories and lots of pictures of your day trip.

General Itinerary

Start your day by departing Bangkok at 7:30 a.m. You'll be taken, by private car, on a one hour drive to Thailand’s smallest province, Samut Songkram ( 416 sq.km ).  Our trip begins with a stroll around the Railway Market or locally called Mae Klong.  This railway market is unique because it is centered along the train tracks where vendors sell agriculture produce and fresh seafood. When vendors hear the train whistle blowing, they quickly retract back their stand umbrellas and clear the train tracks of all their produce.  After the train passes, vendors replace all their umbrellas and produce and return to business as usual. A site you need to see in person!  You are free to stroll along the tracks long as the train doesn’t come. Be sure to have your  camera ready for when the train arrives. Don’t close your eyes !

After a short ride, we will arrive to Ratchaburi’s Damnoen Saduak floating market. Our private motorized boat will take us to visit this exotic and busy tourist floating market. You're welcome to try our tasty local food menu and enjoy shopping while on board our boat.  We'll then continue to see beautiful intricate wood cravings at the Royal Thai Handicraft center before traveling 1.5 hours to arrive at the Bridge over the River Kwai in Kanchaburi.  We'll have lunch there where you will have one of the best views of this infamous bridge.

After lunch, you may want to visit Tiger temple. It was founded in 1994 as a forest temple and sanctuary for numerous wild and abandoned animals including tigers. We'll end our day trip to the neighboring Elephant Village. This is a unique place which isn't a typical "tourist trap".   You will learn about elephants, perhaps help one take a bath or just enjoy riding with them.

Afterwards, we'll head back to Bangkok where you will be returned back to your hotel to retire for the evening.

Please come and enjoy !
