Ayutthaya Kingdom, Ancient Capital of Thailand

At Ayutthaya [1350-1767], the former capital of Siam, you will see the extravagant Royal Summer Retreat Palace of Bang Pa In which is set in highly decorated gardens, as well as the impressive temples and ruined enormous Chedi follow to the UNESCO's World Historical Sites Heritage in 1991.


You will have a chance to take a private boat cruising along the scenic Chao Pra Ya river. This tour has an early start so you can see as much as possible before the day gets too hot (around 1 PM). For those who wish to see elephants, you are able to visit Ayutthaya's Elephant Kraal.



If you travel on a weekend ( every Sat & Sun ), don't be missed to visit the traditional "Gong Kong Market"that is off beaten tracks in Ayutthaya. Thai fresh agricultural produce, local food and handicrafts from the villager will be trade in this charm market.

Dress Code: Visitors are required to dress appropriately when visiting sacred temples. Sleeveless shirts is not allowed to visit Bang Ba-In Palace [ sandle , shorts and skirt which cover to knee is applicable ].
